The PTA organises 3-4 fun outings each year. They are a great way to explore, in the company of other parents from primary and secondary.
A PTA day out is usually planned for each term, with events published at the beginning of each school year, both in the PTA newsletter, and via the Headteachers’ newsletters – so look out for details!
This year, a group of nineteen parents went snowshoeing in the Jura with a guide, followed by a lunch of traditional Swiss fondue. There were lots of laughs and new friendships were made.
In April, a group went to the English Book Fair in Geneva, held annually at the English Library. There were thousands of books, and everyone managed to pick up some great bargains. Afterwards, as it was such a nice day, we all had a delicious lunch at Bains-des-Paquis.
Next year, we will aim to do more local outings, discovering what is in our backyard!
