Last Friday evening, the La Chât community was transported thousands of miles away to another continent, thanks to its first Bollywood event.
Parents and children enjoyed wonderful curries; went home with henna-painted hands; had fun in the photo booth; and danced to Indian music. The highpoint of the evening was a fantastic Bollywood-inspired dance production, for which many of the children had been practising at school. Outside may have been a cool Swiss, spring evening, but the Primary Cafeteria buzzed with the sights, sounds and smells of India.
A huge thanks goes to the PTA Events Team; to the Indian community who inspired this evening, cooked up a storm, decorated the venue and led the dancing; to the students of the Primary School who got right behind this wonderful event; and to the families who dressed up and came along for the fun.
If you have an idea for a great event for the La Chât community, please feel free to contact the PTA.
